BN delivered a complete off-grid electrical power solution for security watch towers located around the degassing stations of the Zubair Oil Field. Because these towers are distributed around the plant perimeter and conventional utility power was not technically or economically feasible at many locations, BN engineered a standalone photovoltaic (PV) and UPS-based solution to provide dependable power for the tower electrical loads and dedicated BLDC air-conditioning units.
The project combined renewable generation, energy storage, power conditioning and efficient cooling in one integrated system, giving the security facilities a practical and maintainable power source without the need to extend long LV feeders through remote perimeter areas.
Security watch tower served by the standalone solar power solution.
The system was developed as an integrated, field-ready package with emphasis on availability, energy efficiency, safe battery operation and reduced dependence on conventional power sources.

The battery system was selected specifically for safety and suitability in remote field service. The installed sealed battery solution is designed to avoid routine gas emissions during normal operation, reduce maintenance requirements, and provide a safer alternative to conventional vented battery arrangements. The battery bank was integrated with the UPS system to support stable power delivery when solar generation is unavailable or insufficient.
BN executed the full project lifecycle from site assessment and electrical design through civil preparation, equipment installation, cabling, terminations, testing and final commissioning. The work was coordinated around active oil-field facilities and security infrastructure, requiring disciplined field execution and reliable equipment selection for harsh environmental conditions.

This project demonstrates BN’s capability to deliver practical green-power solutions for industrial and oil & gas applications. BN combines electrical engineering, renewable-energy integration, UPS and battery systems, field installation and commissioning expertise to develop standalone and hybrid power solutions for locations where grid extension is difficult, costly or operationally undesirable.
